When I saw your rain illustrations, I immediately thought of this book. It is available at the Somerset Public Library. I read it doing research early on. There is an exercise in making calligraphic rain.
I recognize that book. I'm pretty sure I've seen that before. I'll look into it sometime within the next couple days. I'm only a little intimidated, having zero experience/practice with calligraphy. I feel like that's a skill you acquire over time.. no? Though, that does present an opportunity to bring a certain natural element to my poster that it currently lacks. I'm glad you pointed that out.
